Primary scholarship results have been published. PSC scholarship results have been published on the basis of the Primary Education Completion Exam Result. This year, 82 thousand 453 students got scholarships.
Scholarship has been given to 32 thousand 995 students in talented quota (Talentpool) and 39,000 in general quota. This year, scholarships has been given to 32 thousand 995 students based on talented quota. And the general quota has been given to 39 thousand 458 people.
The number of Talentpool scholarships is divided by the number of students in the upazila. In which upazila students are higher, more scholarships are allocated in those upazilas. The scholarships were distributed among the top talent of the upazila according to merit order.
The general grade scholarship is based on the union and the municipal ward. There are 6 scholarships allocated to each union and municipal ward. Female Students get it 3 out of 6.
Talent pool students get a stipend of Tk 300 a month and general grade students get a monthly stipend of Tk 225. Students will receive this money from sixth to eighth grade.
The scholarship is aimed at preventing school drop, increasing student attendance in the classroom and developing balanced intelligence. As a result, all students can participate in the scholarship competition and the quality of education increases.
The Primary Education Completion exam was held in November last year. The results of the Primary Education Completion (PEC) and Ebtedayee examinations were released on December 24. Passes rate in PEC was 97.59 percent. In Ibtedai, the rate was 97.69 percent. A total of 30 lakh 95 thousand 123 students participated in the examinations for the completion of primary education and the Ebtedayee examination.
In addition to the primary scholarship result, EBT scholarship results have also been published. The result was published under the Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board.
